"Strange Woman" is an all-femcee cipher-styled title track produced by none other than TRUE On Tha TRAC. Bates and five other femcees showboat their lyrical superiority in a fast-paced visual directed by Bates and shot by Beast Up Films. It features Cedes, Mz. Tigga, Phenom Ionos, Chill and G.A. Barz - a team of women with a ton of influence withing the hip-hop world. The beauty of "Strange Woman" is the versatility among the artists, proving that women in hip-hop not only have the bars, but also the variety that has been missing since the turn of the century.
"Where'd you get a bus from?" That's the #1 question asked after Bates released "A Date With Lisa." What seemed like a regular commute, quickly turned into a wild party. This joint was made with For Colored Folk fans in mind, given it's super-lyrical content, powerful delivery and repetitive militant phrases that are used to sum up a year's worth of news that Bates hadn't touched on. "A Date With Lisa," directed by Bates, was the first release and visual from Strange Woman.
"Tell Jesus" has intense and soulful production by TRUE On Tha TRAC and a dynamic feature from six of STL's female finest vocalists. The song and video resurrect lost elements of hip-hop and R&B while taking religion and racial identity head-on.
Shot by Reginald and directed by Bates, "Tell Jesus" won Best Video in the 2016 St. Louis Underground Music Awards.

Bates has never been a written battler. She shined her sword in the days when real top-of-the-dome
freestyle was appreciated. But, given that Bates does everything considered hip-hop culture except spin on her head, she tried her pen against Mahogany's. This battle surprised Bates' fans and made her come with The Great DeBates afterward to keep listeners from
labeling her as battle rapper.

This was the first female battle STL Street Report ever hosted.

"Get Me Started" is produced by Asylum member Bates and features fierce yet blatantly honest lyrics from herself, D. Redd and Tega. Saudi IzReal's super charged signature ad-libs lace the hook. This song is a crowd and fan favorite.
